Westlake Village

Straddling the Los Angeles and Ventura County border, the city of Westlake Village was once part of a master planned community simply named Westlake. Built in the 1960s around a manmade lake, Westlake was eventually split into Westlake Village and a neighborhood belonging to the adjacent city of Thousand Oaks.

Westlake Village grew to become one of the most desirable communities in Conejo Valley and one of the wealthiest in the Los Angeles metro. Residents and homebuyers love its seclusion and tranquility, as well as the many amenities that can be found here.

Westlake Village has an industrial area, and boasts outdoor shopping centers, restaurants, parks, and golf courses. The city is home to more artists and people who work in design jobs than 90% of all communities in the country, and this plays a big role in shaping the lifestyle here.

There’s a wide variety of homes, from multimillion dollar mansions and estates to more standard sized single-family homes. Townhouses and condos also make up a significant portion of the real estate market.
